Worship Leader

JCC is looking for a new worship leader for our Sunday morning worship service.  This is a paid position but only requires a few hours per week, especially the 10:15 AM – 11:15 AM Sunday time slot.  We will pay $50 / week for this service.

We are looking for someone in our community who can lead the musical portion of our worship services.  Ideally, this person will play guitar or piano and have a good singing voice in order to lead the congregation through various songs, primarily from the CCLI Top 100.  Ideally, this person would be able to perform these duties both as a solo musician and in the presence of other musicians (should others have interest in leading worship as well).

This person will report directly to our worship ministry team leaders, Paul Welbourn and Emily Ferrigno, and employment will be at the discretion of the elders of Joppatowne Christian Church. While this person is not expected to counsel individuals in the church, this is a ministerial position and this person will be expected to live a high-character life and demonstrate a Christian faith.
